Hello, I am Petya. I have a few questions. Would you tell us your name and what you do?

I am Giulietta Zawadzki and I am a professional cosplayer.

How did you start doing that?

It started when.. I mean, I have always made costumes. I mean Halloween costumes and , like, costumes for nights out. And then I introduced the costumes in my art degree. The teachers loved it and then my friend was like “You should go to a Comic Con”. So, I went to my first Comic Con almost two years ago now.

So, you like it? This is your way of life now?

Yeah, definitely

Do you make the costumes yourself?

I do.

Which parts would you say have been the hardest to make?

Uhm, they’ve all been pretty difficult. I suppose my most recent one, the Emperor of Mankind was pretty hard.

Which techniques did you use? Which materials did you use? Could you share them?

I normally use EVA WORBLA and EVA Foam. So, it’s usually one of the two.

Which is the most interesting costume that you have worked on?

Probably my Daedric armour or my Alien Queen.  I struggled with the Alien Queen head but I really enjoyed making it. But my Daedric armour has always been my favourite armour. I always wanted to make it and when I was making it a lot of love went into it , and a lot of time , and it was quite interesting being my first armour as well.

Do you have some future projects that you maybe wanna share with us?

I am currently working on Pharah from Overwatch .And hopefully, I am not going to say it definitely, but hopefully Widowmaker from Overwatch, as well.

What would you say to the people who read our magazine?

Как започна да го правиш?

То започна когато… Имам предвид, аз винаги съм правела костюми. Костюми за Хелоуин и костюми за вечери навън. След това представих костюми по време на моето обучение по изкуство. Учителите ми ги харесаха , а приятелите ми казаха „Ти трябва да отидеш на Comic Con.” Така че, отидох на първия си Comic Con преди две години.

Значи ти харесва? Това е начина ти на живот сега?

Да, абсолютно.

Сама ли изработваш костюмите?

Да.

Кои части до сега са ти били най-трудни за изработване?

Ами те всички бяха много трудни. Предполагам, че моя най-нов костюм- the Emperor of Mankind беше доста сложен.

Какви техники използваш? Какви материали? Би ли споделила?

Обикновено използвам EVA WORBLA или EVA пяна, едно от двете.

Кой е най-интересният костюм, над който си работила?

Предполагам, че е бронята на Daedric или Alien Queen. Имах много трудности с главата на Alien Queen, но се забавлявах докато я изработвах. Бронята на Daedric  винаги ми е била любима. Винаги съм искала да я направя и вложих много любов и време в нея. Беше много интересно като за първа броня.

Имаш ли бъдещи проекти, които искаш да споделиш с нас?

В момента работя над Pharah от Overwatch. И се надявам, не казвам със сигурност, може би над Widowmaker , пак от Overwatch.
